Traffic congestion knows no boundaries. Many commuters live in one county and work in another. The same holds true for our visitors, who may stay in a hotel in one jurisdiction, but enjoy theme parks, shopping and entertainment throughout the area. Given the regional impact of congestion, regional cooperation is critical to improving transportation in Central Florida.

No single jurisdiction or organization can solve Central Florida’s transportation challenges. Only by working together can we achieve our vision of a world-class transportation system. For this reason, METROPLAN ORLANDO partners with other organizations, working together on a common goal.
