Trends

METROPLAN ORLANDO researches current trends within Central Florida to help plan for the region's transportation needs. 

The research of trends in the area results in our Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) - which spans 20 years, our Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) - which spans 5 years and our Prioritized Project List - which ranks current transportation projects in order.  Each year, a Tracking the Trends report is compiled for the last five years.

On a national level:

The Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) conducts a yearly report with data and ranks overall congestion for the country. It also lists the amount of time that commuters spent in traffic during the year.  Click here to access the 2005 Urban Mobility Report.
