Connections 2013 (181kb)
Connections are the key to optimizing rail investments. Connections must incorporate transportation and land use planning activities, along with making customer service, convenience and safety a priority. With the first phase of the SunRail project scheduled to open in Spring 2013, now is the time to bring a new focus to the importance of connections. This document clarifies roles and responsibilities for the various organizations that share a common interest in the success of our regional rail transit system. Connections 2013 includes 16 components, most of which have been incorporated in the 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan adopted by the METROPLAN ORLANDO Board, that will provide essential connections to optimize rail investments in Central Florida.
