Partnerships
MetroPlan Orlando is committed to improving both short- and long-term safety for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists. The organization continuously works in cooperation with the local governments, transportation agencies and Community Traffic Safety Teams (CTSTs) to improve traffic safety in Central Florida.
CTSTs take a comprehensive approach to safety by using enforcement, education, engineering, and emergency medical services. One common goal of each CTST is to reduce the number and severity of traffic crashes within their community.
