The board meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 11, 2012 has been moved to Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.
The MetroPlan Orlando Board will be discussing the proposed Wekiva Parkway financing plan at the January 17, 2012 meeting. The board is made up of elected officials from Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties, the largest cities in the region, and representatives from the region's transportation operating agencies.
The board's meeting was moved to allow ample time for MetroPlan Orlando’s advisory committees to hold special meetings to review the proposed financing plan. The advisory committees provide valuable feedback and ensure the MetroPlan Orlando Board considers diverse points of view in the transportation planning process. The advisory committee meeting schedule follows (all meetings held at the MetroPlan Orlando office):
- Transportation Technical Committee - Friday, January 6 at 1:30 p.m.
- Citizens' Advisory Committee - Wednesday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m.
- Municipal Advisory Committee - Thursday, January 12 at 9:00 a.m.
