Regional transportation-planning coalition represents the transportation planning interests of 10 counties in Central Florida.
The Central Florida Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Alliance, a regional coalition of transportation planning agencies, elected a new slate of officers at its recent January meeting.
Mayor Pro-Tem Ray Goodgame of the Lake-Sumter MPO (pictured below) will serve as chairman of the alliance. Mayor Pro-Tem Leigh Matusick of the Volusia TPO will serve as vice-chairman and Vice Mayor Tracy Garcia of the Polk TPO will serve as secretary. All terms run through December 2012.
The Central Florida MPO Alliance is a coalition of transportation and government organizations committed to addressing transportation challenges on a regional basis. The alliance is made up of representatives from MetroPlan Orlando, Volusia TPO, Space Coast TPO, Polk County TPO, Lake-Sumter MPO, and Ocala-Marion TPO.
