The Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (TDLCB) currently has two open positions:

• 1) citizen advocate representative who must be a person who uses the LYNX as their primary means of transportation; and
• 2) a person over sixty, representing the elderly in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. 

Persons interested in these volunteer positions should send a letter of interest to MetroPlan Orlando staff member Eric Hill (ehill@metroplanorlando.com or 315 E. Robinson Street, Suite 355, Orlando, FL 32801) by Friday, December 3, 2010.

The TDLCB coordinates the transportation needs of the physically challenged and economically disadvantaged. Composed of representatives from local governments and transportation providers, the primary responsibility of group is to evaluate the service provided by the local Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC) for the three county area—LYNX.  The TDLCB reviews both price and service levels, safety concerns, eligibility and other pertinent issues.
