Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee


The Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) promotes the inclusion of bicycle and pedestrian planning within the overall transportation system. Composed of interested citizens and representatives from local governments, this committee reviews planning, engineering, education and enforcement of bicycle and pedestrian issues.

Meeting Time and Location

BPAC meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 2:00 p.m. at the MetroPlan Orlando office (315 E. Robinson Street, Suite 355, Orlando, FL 32801). All meetings are open to the public and include sections for public comment.

If any person needs special accommodations due to disability or language to participate in a MetroPlan Orlando meeting or event, he or she should contact the organization at 407-481-5672 no later than three business days prior to the event.

Project Applications


These documents outline the application process for project sponsors who wish to present projects to the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee for possible prioritization.  Applications for the Pedestrian/Bike Mobility and Regional Trail projects are due to MetroPlan Orlando by the close of business on April 1, 2013.  Safe Routes to School applications are due May 1.
