MetroPlan Orlando is seeking two qualified students for paid Transportation Planning internships. The internships will allow the selected individuals to assist planning staff with regional transportation planning projects and programs relating to context-sensitive corridor assessment, performance measurement, health impact assessment, and multimodal transportation investment.

The internships will run from January to June 2015.  Ideal candidates will be graduate students with strong academic backgrounds and interests in multimodal transportation planning. 

The Transportation Planning Intern positions will provide technical and administrative assistance in support of MetroPlan Orlando’s transportation planning activities.  See the attached document for more information.

Federal law requires MetroPlan Orlando to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States. MetroPlan Orlando will provide the Social Security Administration and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security, with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
