Summer Intern -- Communications

MetroPlan Orlando is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven student for a paid communication internship. If you're a quick learner and want to get a well-rounded experience in public relations while working on transportation projects that will impact Central Florida, then this is the internship for you. You'll join the MetroPlan Orlando team on communication and community outreach, promoting our transportation planning mission.

The internship will run from May to August 2015. Exact length of the internship will be determined based on the candidate's preferences, qualifications and performance. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented undergraduate students with a strong academic background and interest in public relations and communication. Candidates with work experience, a prior internship or activities showing a commitment to the communication industry are preferred.

Federal law requires MetroPlan Orlando to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States. MetroPlan Orlando will provide the Social Security Administration and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security, with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
